INTERNACIONAL SEMINAR ON MUSIC EDUCATION
Promoted by FAPROM-UFRGS
The Graduate Music Program of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), through the research group FAPROM, coordinated by Prof. Liane Hentschke, will host the International Seminar on Music Education. This event will take place on November 21-22, 2016, and the keynote speaker will be Prof. Liora Bresler (University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign). The event includes lectures, roundtable discussions and musical performances. A highlight will be Prof. Bresler's opening lecture about entrepreneurship in music education.
This seminar is open to music teachers of all levels of education, since it will address contemporary questions about music teaching, national and international music education policies and qualitative research in music education.
